Terms of service

These terms apply when you use this website or book or receive services from Glow & Thread (“we,” “us”) at 1208 South Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28203. By booking an appointment or using this site, you agree to them.

Booking & deposits

Appointments are booked online through Square, by phone, or by WhatsApp. A deposit is charged through Square at booking to hold your time. The deposit is non-refundable and is applied to your service total.

Cancellations, late arrivals & no-shows

• Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance, using the link in your booking confirmation email or by calling or messaging us.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, and no-shows, may be charged up to 50% of the service price.
• If you arrive late, we may need to shorten your service so the next client isn't delayed, or reschedule you. The full price still applies.

Prices & special offers

• Prices and service times on this website are a guide and may change. The price confirmed at booking or before your service starts is the one that applies.
• Specials are valid only for the dates shown.

Your health & safety

• Please tell us about allergies, skin conditions, medications (for example retinoids, Accutane or blood thinners), recent treatments, pregnancy, and any other health concerns before your service. Some services may require a consultation form.
• We may change or decline a service if we think it isn't safe or suitable for you. Where a patch test is recommended (such as for tints or lamination), we may ask you to have one before your appointment.
• Temporary redness, sensitivity or irritation is normal after many treatments. Results vary from person to person and aren't guaranteed. Following the aftercare advice we give you helps you get the best result.
• Clients under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent, and a parent or guardian may need to be present. We may decline some services for minors.

Satisfaction & refunds

If you're not happy with a service, please tell us as soon as possible, ideally within a few days, and we'll do our best to make it right. Services can't be refunded once they've been performed. Unopened retail products may be returned within 14 days with a receipt.

Photos

We may take before-and-after photos for your treatment record. We will only share them on our website or social media with your permission. See our privacy policy.

Studio conduct

We want every visit to be relaxed and respectful. We may refuse or end a service if a client behaves abusively or unsafely, or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Using this website

• We work to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but it may contain errors or be out of date, and we may change it at any time.
• The site links to services run by others, such as Square, Google, WhatsApp and social media. We aren't responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms apply.
• The photos, videos, text and logo on this site belong to Glow & Threador are used with permission. Please don't copy or reuse them without our written consent.

Accessibility

We work to keep this site accessible to everyone, but we can't guarantee that every page or third-party service (including Square booking) will be fully accessible at all times. See our accessibility statement. If anything gets in your way, call or message us and we'll help you book.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, this website is provided “as is.” Glow & Thread is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. For services, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that can't be limited by law.

Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. We may update them from time to time; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version posted when you book applies to that appointment.
